| The Production of Adhesive Mini Trunks |

Adhesive Cable Trunks, also called Flex-Trunks, Stick-Trunks or Mini-Trunks, are manufactured with an extrusion device. The PVC-granulate is heated and made pasty. This pasty plastic is drawn into a mould through a shaping aperture. This way the form of the cable trunk is created. As soon as the cable trunk comes out of the mould, it is guided through a bath of water in order to cool
off as fast as possible. This is primerly done te prevent warping.

Next the cover is pushed shut with a cylinder system, the tape placed and a barcode sticker glued.
With this the cable trunk is ready to be sawed off at a length of 2 meters by a miter saw that runs along in the same proces.

The quality of cable trunks is determined by the:
- quantity of plastic per meter
- quality of the plastic
- straightness of the tray (not curved or askew)
- closing of the cover
- mass and strength of the hinge
- adhesive tape
